The Men's Health Book of Muscle: The World's
Most Complete Guide to Building Your Body
|
This book
rocks! From beginner to intermediate to advanced level workouts,
they help you understand how to get in shape. Within its pages is
three total body muscle building programs (beginner, intermediate,
and advanced), a total of 18 months worth of workouts. There is
also a complete description of more than 100 exercises in easy to
follow terms. The exercise photography in this book is detailed
and extensive. The only con about their workouts is that it can
be difficult to do them in the gym during the busy hours as it involves
jumping from exercise to exercise. I give this book five stars.

Along
with an extensive workout program is a detailed daily diet to follow
for maximum progress. They show you how low fat and high carbohydrate
diets can be good for you, despite the Atkins rave. Men need fat (good
fat, like that found in peanuts, not donuts, darn!) in order to produce
testosterone which in turn helps to build muscle. I give this four
stars. |

This
is a body sculpting book at its finest, with an easy to follow dietary
plan and a unique 14 day workout. I rate this four stars. |

Combines
diet with workouts in an innovative way. if your workout needs a jump
start of your body needs to get off the couch, this is a great book
to buy! I rate this four stars. |

You
would think I'm getting money if you buy Lou's books, I advocate them
so much, but the hard truth is that he knows his stuff, delivers it
well and hsi programs work! The book gives four plans: the Body Weight
Plan; the Dumbbell Plan; the Barbell Plan; and the Multistation-Machine
Plan. I would not recommend this for novice workers, however. This
is a great starter book. I give this three stars. |
