Not
that there are any 100% true formulas, I mean, every individual
body is different, but these are some basics that should
gear you to as close to accuracy as possible.
Calorie
formulas are those formulas to help with maintaining body
weight, cutting phases and bulking phases.
Cardio
formulas incorporate VO2 max, MHR (maximum heart rate),
time equations, etc. These are for those who want to become
more educated in the technical side of things as discussed
in the cardio section.
Weight
lifting formulas - Some say formulas to find your maximum
bench, for example, are not so accurate. It is not advisable
to do a max bench anyway, as the risk factor for injury
is so great. Here is a formula so you don't have to risk
injury if you're interested in your max bench.
Miscellaneous
formulas are those to deal with BMI (body mass index)
and others.
